Meet Pastor Ken
Ken Kunkel grew up in Flint, Michigan, and entered the U.S. Marine Corps immediately after graduation from high school. After serving in the Marine Corps for nearly eleven years, Ken was honorably discharged in 1997 and currently serves as an Army Reserve Chaplain as an instructor at the US Army Institute for Religious Leadership at Fort Jackson, SC. Ken graduated from Erskine Theological Seminary (M.Div 2011) and was ordained in the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church in April of 2012. Ken’s wife, Laura, was born in Augusta, Georgia, but spent much of her childhood in the Ivory Coast in Africa, where her parents were medical missionaries. Jim DeBoerDeacon Jim is a native of northwest Indiana and moved to North Carolina in 2020. He and his wife Deb, both retired, live in Four Oaks and have two grown children, Dana and Derek. |
Scott Miller
Deacon Scott, a native of Maryland, has been a resident of North Carolina since 1995. Scott owns and operates a commercial floor covering company in Clayton. He and his wife Michelle have three children. |

Joe OwenDeacon Emeritus Joe, an Illinois native, is married to Carolyn and they have three grown children and nine grandchildren. He resides in Clayton and owns a small business that trains forklift operators. |
