Meet Pastor Ken

Ken Kunkel grew up in Flint, Michigan, and entered the U.S. Marine Corps immediately after graduation from high school. After serving in the Marine Corps for nearly eleven years, Ken was honorably discharged in 1997 and currently serves as an Army Reserve Chaplain as an instructor at the US Army Institute for Religious Leadership at Fort Jackson, SC. Ken graduated from Erskine Theological Seminary (M.Div 2011) and was ordained in the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church in April of 2012. Ken’s wife, Laura, was born in Augusta, Georgia, but spent much of her childhood in the Ivory Coast in Africa, where her parents were medical missionaries. Ken and Laura have three children: Alayna, Austin, and Aiden

Bob, formerly of Florida, has been married to Jane since 1976 and they are parents of two grown children. He is a retired electronic component engineer residing in Clayton.

Josh,  a crops agronomist, served as a missionary in China for two years before graduating with a Master's in Horticulture. He is married to Heather and the father of three children, Nate, Sam, and Sophie.

David was born and raised in Corning, NY and received a B.S. in Computer Science from Rochester Institute of Technology. He and his wife, Sharon, have five children and lived for 30 years in Georgia before moving to the Clayton area.

Joe, an Illinois native, is married to Carolyn and they have three grown children and nine grandchildren. He resides in Clayton and owns a small business that trains forklift operators.
