"Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness.” (Psalm 29:2)
Although we believe that all of life is our worship to the Lord, we also believe that corporate worship holds special significance for Christ’s Church. Each Sunday we gather together to hear God’s Word read and preached, sing praises to Him, declare together what we believe through our confessions, pray together, and to give to God our first fruits in gratefulness. We believe that this is Christ’s Church and all that we do here is for His glory and praise.
We believe that the way we welcome children in church directly affects the way they respond to the Church, to God, and to one another. The presence of children is a gift to the Church, and they are a reminder that our congregation is growing. But we understand that it is difficult for some chidlren to sit through worship. So even though we love having the little ones in worship, we also provide a fully staffed nursery during worship as well as a time for our preschoolers to receive age appropriate instruction during the sermon.
